The Battle Version Rear Suspension for the Nissans was mainly developed as a package kit and using all the links will give you the most gains. What happens with the rear suspension is as you lower the car, you run out of adjustment with the stock links. This is caused by the suspension geometry changes and the only way to fix this problem is to put in adjustable arms. The first thing you will notice after you lower the car is the increase in negative camber. The upper arms are made to fix this problem and are usually the first and most important upgrade. The second part of the upgrade are the toe links. These are very popular in japan because the stock links do flex under hard driving. Using and aftermarket toe link greatly reduces the amount of flex and amount of change in alignment settings as you drive. Basicly, the less change in suspension settings, the tighter and more effective the suspension will be. This is where the Forward links come in. The first reason to change these is first to cut down on flex and give a tighter feel. The second reason is to adjust rear bumpsteer. Bumpsteer is the change of the toe setting while going threw the suspension travel. As you lower your car, there is a change in suspension geometry, meaning the angle of the links will change and will cause ecesive amounts of alignment change while going threw the suspension travel. You can use this link to control the angle of the toe link and greatly reduce this change, But Battle Version does not suggest playing with the length of this link and recomend setting it at stock length.
