BMS Billet BMW Oil Filter Cap for N54/N55/S55/N52/N20/N26 Engines - Black
Replaces your weak plastic BMW oil filter cap.
The Burger Motorsports V2 billet aluminum oil filter cover is a metal upgrade that directly replaces your weak OE plastic cap for greater protection, better cooling, ease of removal/install, and looks great under the hood. The built-in 21mm hex and a 3/8" drive socket wrench fitting that does not require a special removal/install tool like the factory cap. Uses the OE oil filter, filter housing o-ring, and filter cage. Anodized for protection. This quality part is a must for any serious BMW owner.
Replaces OEM part number 11427525334 - BMW Oil filter cover.

? After removing the OEM oil filter cap, remove the filter, and be sure to remove the plastic oil filter cage and transfer it to the new BMS billet oil filter cap. Be sure to replace the exterior o-ring gasket also when installing.
What is billet?
In this case, A billet is a solid block of aluminum (lightweight metal) with a size larger than the part. Excess material from the billet is removed by precision CNC machining, essentially carving the part out of solid aluminum. CNC machined parts are consistently stronger, better looking, and last longer than cheaper cast and plastic versions.
Please note some engine degreasers and engine cleaners may fade or damage the anodized finish.
