Xcessive Manufacturing's front skid plate is CNC cut and formed from 2.5 mm thick steel. The S13 skid plate is then plated for corrosion resistance. We've designed the plate to bolt directly to the 240/180 chassis with no drilling or welding required.
With all hardware supplied, this skid plate can be bolted on in less than an hour and protect your oil pan and engine for a lifetime. The skid plate is designed to fit with stock and aftermarket sway bars, as well as stock and lowered engines. The plate has an offset rear bolting flange to help protect the bolt heads from damage, as well as deflect debris from the cross member.

Great skid plate
I recently purchased this skid plate for my S14 before installing Circuit Sports engine mounts, which lowered my engine. And at the same time I installed coilovers with a large drop. Needless to say, this skid plate came in very handy one night when I scraped a raised manhole cover. It barely took any damage! Very strong product.

Piece of mind for sure!
Easy install on the S14. Has already saved me twice in the first month on steep driveways. The rear fittings are a little tough to get seated but over all rather easy.

Best skid plate
I purchased mine 3 years ago after a hole in oil pan, and still has a ton of life left from a lot of abuse on bumpy highway driving.outlasted my friends PBM skid plate. A++ product.

Peace of mind
As mentioned before, if the instr. are followed, this will be cake to install. The hardest part is getting a gap to get the plate slid in up front. For the S13, (unlike the 14 mentioned below) you can still reach the oil drain plug and anything you need for general maintenance. Luckily, I haven't had to "use" it yet, but it's nice having the peace of mind that if something does hit, there’s some solid protection under the car.

Solid skid plate
It fits in easy if you do it how the directions describe. I can't count how many times this has saved my engine. I installed it just after my coilovers as a precaustion and I have hit so many things with it. Solid Skid plate and has saved my engine so much.

Hi there, I recently purchased this for my 1995 Nissan 240sx S14. At first I was kinda confused as to how it fits on. The instructions that come with it are *VERY* detailed as to install it and if it doesn't fit how to make it fit :). Save your oil pan by taking about 45 minutes to install as my first time. Note you may want to change your oil before you put this on as it will cover it.
